Tap at Bruuveri, Helsinki. Originally rated 03052012. Colour is clear copper with small head. Aromas and flavours: Spices, bitterness, some hops and malts.

Draught@Bruuveri, Helsinki (backlog). Deep orangeish golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, grassy and also has some mild alcohol and spicyness to it. Flavour is alcohol, some ginger, caramel, toffee and some mild caramelly notes as well. Balanced.

Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of caramel malts, spices and hints of honey. Taste is quite malty and spicy with notes of cinnamon, ginger, honey, caramel and toffee. Finish is spicy and hoppy with mild notes of honey and fruits. Quite untypical IIPA, but still quite tasty.

The third of Arde’s tribute beers. Unfortunately Arde is Leeds, not Arsenal fan :)
Clear golden-copper color, good creamy off-white head. Leafy, nutty, English hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Honeyish sweetish. Fruity English hoppyness with spiced notes .. is it ginger? Can’t trace cinnamon. Lingering bitterness in the warming aftertaste. Also some alcohol. English spiced double IPAs are rare. This is at least interesting and somewhat drinkable too.

(Draught at Bruuveri, 20120427) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had hops, pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, herbalness, pine, sweetness, malts, nuts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. Nice and balanced double IPA. A bit too sweet. I couldn’t spot the spices at all.
