Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is caramel malt with dried fruits, soft hop, notes of orange, toffee. Bittersweetish flavour, above medium body. Pleasant Barley Wine, nice balance between malt and ripe fruits.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg.
Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Caramel toffee aroma with some citrus hops. Sweet taste with a bittersweet boozy finish. Very pleasant barley wine.

Süßlicher, herb malziger Beginn. Geringe Würzigkeit, zu süß, helles Malz, mittellanger Nachhall. Okay, unspannend. 10/8/8/8/6/8

33cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong pale malt, some honey. Taste of strong pale malt, grains, some honey, grains.

Bottle. Amber color. Hints of citrus and herbal hops in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with lots of grassy citric hops.Pleasant, well made.

Bottle. Golden orange pour. Aroma of citrus, orange, grapefruit, malt, butter and yeast. Taste of bitter orange, buttery caramel, grapefruit, malt, yeast and some sticky grassy hop. Too yeasty unfortunately and also too carbonated.

Bottle at home thanks Eveline! Amber color as expected. Aroma and flavor are typical barley wine, exactly what you can expect: malty, malty sweetness, dark fruit notes. Medium body, fairly soft carbonation. Ok.
