(Draught at Villi Wäinö, 20111214) The beer poured almost black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had rosted malts, coffee and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, roasted malts, coffee, sweetness and bitteness. Aftertaste was burnt, roasty and bitter. A tasty stout.

Pours black with a small hazy head. Aroma has notes of slightly roasted malts, caramel and chocolate. Taste is slightly malty and roasty with hints of sweet caramel and fruits. Finish is slick and slightly carbonated. Okay, well balanced.

Rather hoppy aroma with some roasted malt, also hints of toffee. Flavour is roasty with peat. Slightly thin palate. Could not locate the ’dry’ here, but this isn’t sweet either. Decent.

Dark brown, almost opaque color, good creamy coffee head, some lace. Light toasted aroma with acidic coffee hints. Light to medium bodied with soft palate. Toasted, dry flavor with light acidic note, Finish with espresso bitterness. Balanced and very style-like dry stout. Not maybe the most interesting brew but well done.

Draught. Very dark colour, close to black with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some toasted notes as well as toffee, dark fruits and also some slight metallic notes as it warms up. Flavour is being quite similar, but also has some grainy notes. Quite watery and thin palate.
