Oh. My. Maple, y’all. This beer is amazing!!! Say hello to this Thursday’s beer release - Maple Breakfast Stout. This slow sipper was brewed with lactose, maple syrup, coffee beans, and vanilla making it a perfect beer to enjoy with dessert in the evening or a big stack of pancakes in the morning. 8% ABV. Absolutely decadent.

Draft at Catawba Morganton. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Lovely maple notes with coffee and dark chocolate as it warms. Palate is similar with creamy chocolate, coffee, vanilla and more maple. Finishes with a lingering maple and coffee note. Very good.
