Draught @ Kitty’s, Helsinki

Pours orange with a hazy head. Aroma has hints of banana and grass. Taste starts out smooth with banana notes but hops and citrusy fruitness kicks in fast. A bit light bodied, but otherwise nicely balanced.

Hazy deep orange color, big creamy off-white head. Banana-wheaty nose with hints of citrus. Crisp carbonation. Banana weizen-like sweetness, but also nicely balanced citrus from Cascade. Citrusy finish - another ok beer from Karhupanimo.

(Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki, 20110407) The beer poured orange and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, banana and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, pine, banana, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The hoppiness wasn’t overdone but it gave nice crispness to this beer instead.

Draught@Kaisla. Slightly hazy golden colour with small white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast and some mild floral and citrusy notes along with some herbs. Flavour is wheat, mild yeast, some citrusy and some mild grassy notes.
