Draught @ the brewpub Aroma has bready malt, mild toastines and slight sourness. Flavour has bready malt, nuts, mild toastiness. Finishes with rather mild sournes and maltiness. Decent and easy to drink but where is the smoke? Feels like amber lager.

Tap at brewpub. Copper-red colour and tiny beige head. Light yeasty smokeyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Crisp, some smokeyness, earthy hops, shallow maltbase. Too much carbo. Neh.

(Keg at the brewpub, 20220223) The deep amber and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts and mildly smoke. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, caramel, smoke and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky, malty and bitter. A tasty smoked brew. Only the aroma was too weak.

Dark brown with tiny white head. Aroma of smoke (duh!), roasty with faints of licorice and chocolate. Not being watery, but quite mild in general (as in compared to Schlenkerla). I liked it.

Draught@Koulu. Deep amber colour with a mediumsized yellowish beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some burnt wet wood, mild yeastyness as well as some mild hoppyness. Flavour is burnt wet wood, some slight smoked notes, ashes as well as some sweet maltyness. A quite mildly smoked brew, but still pleasant.
