bottle from biershop-bayern. Chestnut-amber colour, creamy off-white head. Malty nose with lots of lovely bitter hop elements. Full-bodied, hints of nuts, fruit (berries), aromatic and bitter hops doinate the lingering finish. Very similar so some very good Düssedorf Alts.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, amber golden colour with a mid-sized tanned foamy head. The aroma has something of an English Ale: moderately sweet cara-malty with fruity notes of citrus, pineapples and a touch of woody hops. Sweet and balancing bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with an almost creamy carbonated mouthfeel. Hearty cara-malty and slightly nutty taste with fruity hoppy notes; medium-dry sweet-bitter caramelly, slightly fruity hoppy and spicy finish. Reminds me of a Schumacher Latzen from Düsseldorf. 08.IX.10
