Fruit caramel and malty overtones in the aroma of this deep amber ale are followed by a pleasant bitterness and a fullness of palate, due to a balanced blend of WGV and Fuggle hop

Cask-conditioned at the Robin Hoods Retreat, Bristol 3/9/08. Deep reddish amber in colour with a small but tight tan head. Aroma of tart fruit, bitter chocolate and a touch of sweetness. Flavour began slightly sweet before plums with a whiff of grassy hops took over. The finish was slightly dry and the alcohol was well concealed - well worth seeking out.
