Cask@Charlies Pub, Copenhagen. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity along with bigtime wooden (oaked) notes. Flavour is very berryish as well as wooden. Quite basic as is, but somehow this one just got me rocking. Not really sure what, but really enjoyable real ale.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar. An amber beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt and toffee as well as a whiff of hops. The flavor is sweet and very toffeeish, almost chewy, with light notes of tobacco, leading to a bitter finish. The body is no wonder light.

From cask at Charlies. Pours dark orange to hazzlenut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is initially toffee caramelish, vague butterish and roasted caramelish. Mild spiced, dry and roasted breadish malt base flavour. Light fruity and yeasty flavoured. Medium bitter and dry roasted finish. Subtle ginger note throughout.
