The one that started it all. This heavily oated, mosaic-only IPA softly beckons you to remember where you came from while giving you just enough of a ripe citrus kick to strive for where you want to go. Homestyle is the staple IPA of our brewery and, like almost all of our hoppy beers, focuses on highlighting the fruity & fragrant nuances of hops. At a relaxed 6.0% we think you’ll discover it’s easy to find your Homestyle.

At a tasting, small stable bubbly head, , quite cloudy intense yellow color, aromatic onion aroma with guava and feral notes, floral, stinky onion flavor, fruitiness behind and a mellow medium citrus bitterness. Very nice and enjoyable.

Keg at BD TH, 25/07/18. Almost clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is semi ripe tropical fruits, pine needle, cantaloupe melon, hint of dextrose, orange pith, light brioche. Taste comprises mandarin, peach, grapefruit, sweet tropicana, nectarine, airy malts, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Decent IPA.

22/7/2018. Can shared at BrewDog, Newcastle. Pours hazy pale amber with a good sized off-white head. Aroma of hop, tropical fruit, Citrix, tropical fruit and light pine. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, fine carbonation. Good IPA though my least favourite of the 3 tried by this brewer this evening.

Can from BD 7D. It pours hazy good with a decent white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, rioe fruits, guava, watermelon and papaya. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, juicy, pithy, zesty, kick of alcohol, pine needless, grapefruit, guava, bit green, danky edge and a bit of spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Rather nice stuff. Fruity as.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/18/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, herbal, grassy, zesty bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a delicious NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; refreshingly smooth and easy to drink; with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Spot on soft feel for the style. Great mosaic hop showcase. Juicy/light dank hop complexity; balanced malts/oats, and not overly sweet/heavy. Definitely past prime as expected, but it held up well enough. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

On tap at Brewdog Soho. Hazy orange colour lasting white head. That's delicious gives me the beer horn. Tickles the perineum. Love the orange flavour touch of dank on end. Still lovely.

Keg at the Brewdog. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, light creamy sweetness. Hops bring cooling pine and tangy citrus. Modest skunk, very well buried. Tangerine and a little pink grapefruit. Nice light tropical fruits. Light semi dry spicy finish. The tan distracts from an otherwise excellent beer.
