Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. Rather a strange aroma of dark berry fruits with hints of antiseptic. In the ,mouth it is sweet and creamy with a preponderance of oats. After a while chocolate comes through plus traces of lemon and roast malts. Finish is fruity and quite sharp. This is a bit weird, but rather nice.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Black body with a dense long lasting off-white head. Reasonably sweet aroma, chocolate, roasted malts and a sweet caramel overtone. Taste is roasted malts, dark chocolate, molasses and brown sugar. Creamy mouthfeel. Very drinkable and moreish.
