05.03.2020 - 0.5l can from qbeer, bb 05.02.2020 (srsly?). pours an opaque black with a steady dense brown head and a nice lacing. aroma of roast, chocolate, berries (blackcurrant?). flavour of tart berries, chocolate, pumpernickel bread. alcohol is not noticeable. an interesting combination.

Tap. Black. Milky caramelly aroma with blueberries. Soft roast, caramel, sour, milky notes with blueberries. Odd, but tasty.

Draught @ SKAAL, Kultorvet 11, Copenhagen, Denmark 1175.[ As To Øl Mr. Blue 2019 Edition ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, black currant, dark malt, light butterscotch. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, tart black currant, dark malt, chocolate, dark roasted, roasted, dark chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20190317] 7-4-7-4-14

On tap at Mikkeller Singapore, pours black with a subtle reddish hue and small tan head. Aroma is big on tart dark currants upfront, with a big caramel malt backbone. Flavour is very tart and fruity, with the currant pummelling the taste bud to the extent that I get no real big malt base. Not really feeling this.

Bottle. Black pour, brown purple head. Aroma of rich blackberries, chocolate, caramel, licorice, malt and cream. Taste has nice rich tart blackberry, chocolate, fruit zest, caramel, some licorice and malt. Really nice how the rich fruit flavor works with the creamy stout. Great beer.
