Marras Imperial Stout on hyvin perinteinen vahva stout olut.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Near black, minimal head. Aroma of ashy dates. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Toffee, raisins and ashy licorice. Mid bitter finish.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured near black in color. Ashy, bit hollow. Roasty but with some metal notes as well. Soury notes as well. Nope, not everything as it should here.

A black beer, a head is light brown and ridiculous, luckily it's decreasing quite soon. Aroma has liquorice, light bready maltyness and roastiness. Taste has liquorice, sweetness of malts, some roastiness. Medium+ bodied, high carbonation. Good beer, but not more.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Opaque brown colour, medium-sized brownish head. Aroma is quite burnt and ashy, light sweet licorice. Medium-bodied. Way too active carbonation. Toasted, burnt, cocoa, some burning alcohol. High carbo may mean tricky yeast. A bit rough impy.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 141 - BBE 11/2026, from Alko, 20220122) The beer poured black. Its head was huge, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash and cocoa powder. Palate was full bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had ash, dark chocolate and bitterness. A pleasant burnt brew with nice very dark chocolate notes. The foaming was too excessive.
