Joskus tulee vastaan oluttyylejä, joita saa etsiä kissojen ja koirien kanssa, mutta tässähän se on; ihan oikea black IPA, mutta mirri ei ole mikään mehukatti vaan se omistaa hampaat, jotka tuottavat terävän puraisun! Tämä Le Chat Noir on hieman ronskimpi esitys, joka luo viiksenpäitä myöten paahteista mallasta ja puraisevaa katkeruutta. Kehräys starttaa viimeistään, kun lasiin livahtaa tummaa hedelmää, sitrusta ja marjaisuutta ja häntäpäässä pihkaisuutta. Prosentteihinsa nähden tässä on mitä mainion juotavuus sujahtaen kitusiin ennen kuin ehtii kissaa sanoa!

440ml can. Quasi black colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Grassy and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, roasty, dark malty background, notes of grass, hints of scallions, some grapefruit, some coffee. Taste is bitter, citrusy fruity and grassy hoppy as well as bitter, roasty, dark malty, notes of grapefruit, orange peel, hints of scallions, grass, some coffee, a touch of liquorice.
Watery and minimally oily texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Balanced, well adjusted bitterness, refreshing - good.

Smell of hops, citrus, ash. Dark brown colour, high beige head. Aroma of hops, citrus, roasted malt, ash, faint peat. Pine in finish. Lively carbon. Bitter, medium sweet. Very good.

0,44l can from K-Supermarket Lippulaiva. Canned 1125, bbe 261126. Very dark brown, almost black beer with huge and stable, light brown head. Aroma is roasted malts and coffee with nice hops. Flavor is roasted malts, coffee, liquorice, fruity hops, pine and dry bitterness. Smooth, easy but very tasty. Excellent and very balanced beer.

A black beer, a head is big and beige. Aroma has fruitness, pine, nice roastiness, some liquorice. Taste has roastiness, pine, citrus, nice and medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Balanced, very good beer.

Med-full body, med carbo, pretty smooth feeling overall, easy drinking. Alco hidden well. Light roast present, dark chocolate, hint of coffee. Hops on top though, mix of med-high fruity, med citrusy, med-light tropical. Fresh, tasty. Great.

Tap at Myslíš?, Prague, thx Gurthnar! Black body, off-white thick head. Dry caramelly aroma, treacle, low citrus notes. Lean, dry taste, bit nutty, loads of roasted hazelnut, some herbal and vague citric notes, bitterish finish. Nothing too special in my book but drinkable enough.

(Keg at Juova, 20220303) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, pine, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, ashy and bitter. A nice hoppy brew with too much burnt notes.

Draught @ Juova, Helsinki. Smooth, hoppy and piney with some roastiness, citrus, grapefruit, ashy notes, hints of chocolate and some bitterness in the finish. Pretty balanced black IPA.
