--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Aroma of coffee with artificial sweetener. Very sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Saccharine and coffee, some caramel. Artificial sweetener lingers in a finish with low bitterness. Why does otherwise great brewers wreck their beer with lactose?

ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - roasted, coffee, sweet coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet chocolate, sweet coffee, dark malt, coffee, cafe latte. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230120]

Bottled (from Prisma Vaasa). Pitch black colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is coffee, some toasted, mild lactose tones with some chocolate and mild nutty tones. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, some toffee, mild lactose and some nutty elements. Quite watery palate.

On tap at Stone's. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Roasted malt, coffee, lactose. Doesn't come together.

Smell of roasted malt, coffee. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee, burnt malt, lactose. Medium bitter, medium sweet. Lively carbon.

Almost black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has roastiness, some coffee and chocolate. Taste has roastiness, coffee, sweetness of lactose. Medium bodied. Pretty nice, balanced.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. BBE 11 2022. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, nuts, milk chocolate, roasted malts... actually pretty nutty! OK.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 11/2022 Aroma has coffee and licorice. Flavour is dry with coffee, licorice and some candy. Dry and a bit ashy finish. Good for this ABV.

Bottled 330ml
Dark brown colour, small off-white head. Toasted, nutty, coffeish aroma. Light-bodied. Toasted flavour has some lactose sweetness, nuttyness and light roasted coffee. As usual, a bit thin for its ABV.
