Kapittel Tripel Abt 10° is een amberkleurige tripel van hoge gisting met nagisting op de fles. Deze tripel heeft een vol en complex smakenpalet dat het best kan omschreven worden als vol, rond, licht hoppig maar niet bitter, eerder licht zoetig. De onaangename smaak van alcohol is afwezig, deze is vervangen door een warm mondgevoel.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy golden/amber colour with a thinnish soapy looking white head. Aromas of yellow fruits, some ripe stoney fruits and peppery spice. Taste has bananas and cloves, apricots, lots of peppery spice, some floral, honey, a touch of warming alcohol (brandy like) and also some hints of bubblegum. Some sweetness and very well balanced. Medium to full body, fairly low carbonation and smooth creamy like mouthfeel. Brilliant Triple. Very nice indeed!

(bottle 0,33l from topvino.cz online shop) Overall: Ok spicy-fruity belgian character, later alcohol more evident. Aroma: Sweet, fruity, later light alcohol. Appearance: Clear golden. Medium, white head. Taste: Medium sweet, malty, candy, spicy, fruity, later alcohol. Palate: Medium body. Dry, long light warm finish.

Appearance: fogged deep gold with a good off-white head. Aroma and taste: pedigree esters providing apricots / peaches. Spicy yeast, pale malt, grass, warming alcohol. Light to medium sweet and bitter. Hoppy ending and aftertaste Mouth feel: full body, average carbonation. Summary: nice one.

En tulipa, color dorado anaranjado, turbia, espuma blanca de mediana retención. Aroma a levadura, pan, naranja madura, bizcocho, algo de plátano, melocotón en almíbar, frutas de hueso, especias. En boca entra moderadamente dulce, con notas frutales, maltosas y de cereal, ligero amargor en el retrogusto, además de especias. En general una tripel correcta y agradable, para mi gusto la mejor sin duda de las tres Kapittel que llevo probadas hasta ahora (aparte de ésta, Pater y Prior), reconozco su calidad, aunque yo quizá esperaba algo más.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, color giallo ambrato torbido con lieviti in sospensione, al naso lieviti belgi spezie succo di pera note floreali lieve banana e ananas, in bocca marmellata di pesche pera frutta candita note erbacee, corpo rotondo, astringente, carbonazione leggera, l’alcool si sente ma non disturba, molto dolce compensato da un amaro accentuato lungo nel finale. Pour is more of a hazy tan with average white head. Lots of yeast cake junk came out of the bottle. Aroma is musty dark fruit and some candi sugar. Flavor is a slight sweet dark fruit but also a big alcohol note. Booze is not hidden at all. Finish is hot with not much else noticeable. Not up to typical Belgian standards with this one.
