Suomen testoisin panimo tykittää höyryjä pihalle oikein urakalla. Let off some steam Bennett on tribuutti maailman parhaimmalle elokuvalle ja maailman parhaimmalle elokuvapahikselle eli Commandon Bennettille.
Tyyliltään steam beer eli californian common eli lagerhiivalla alehiivan lämmöissä käytetty hybridiolut. Pääosassa Vic Secret- ja Citra-humalat. Tämä rungoltaan vähän liiankin liukas hörppy on tuplakuivahumaloitu kunnolla. Hedelmäinen makumaailma tykittää loputonta aprikoosi-ananas-sitrussarjaa kuin Valmetin M78 konsanaan.

440ml can. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, dense, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, minimally herbal-grassy, hoppy and minimally doughy yeasty aroma, pale malty background, notes of lemon, a touch of orange peel, watermelon. Taste is slightly spicy, pale malty, slightly bitter, citrusy fruity and minimally doughy yeasty, notes of lemon, hints of melon, a touch of brioche, herbal and almost minimally salty spicy overtones.
Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, dense, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well hopped, rather spicy - nice.

Smell of citrusy hops. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, faint straw. Soft carbon. Lightly bitter. Steamy flavours are rather hidden.

Can (from Alko web). Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small foamy white head. Aroma is floral, spritzy and nectary with zesty tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, some mild toffee tones with mild herbal and grassy tones too.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy golden, rich lively head. Grassy citrus aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Sugar and apricots, fruity with some passionfruit. Resinous very bitter finish. Unpolished.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20210805) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, resin, grapefruit and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, resin, grapefruit, marzipan, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A pleasant hoppy brew with complex notes.

Tap at Juova. Hazy pale yellow colour and small white head. Citrus, citrus peels, grain in the nose. Light-bodied. Crisp, citrusy lager, some lime peels. Not Anchor Steam Beer but something more modern.
