44 cl can @ St. Mary's Park, BBE 30.06.2022 Aroma has toasted malt and quite nothing else. Flavour has toasted malt, toffee and mild licorice. Hard palate with a bit too much CO2. Not that stout-like, perhaps an imperial brown ale could be closer. Rather straightforward for this ABV.

(Keg at One Pint Pub, 20210514) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, metal, liquorice and coffee. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, lightly sweetness, coffee, lightly ash, and medium bitterness. Aftertaste had dark chocolate, burnt malts and bitterness. A tasty burnt brew with pleasant sweet notes.
