Tornio 400 special beer. Olaus Magnus ylisti Pohjolan oluiden laatua vieraillessaan Lapin porttina tunnetussa Torniossa 1500-luvulla. Vuonna 1621 Kustaa II Adolf myönsi Torniolle kaupunkioikeudet. Kunnioittaen oluenpanon vuosisataisia perinteitä, panimme tämän vahvan maltaisen Bock -oluen juhlistamaan Tornion 400-vuotista taivalta kaupunkina. Humalat: Mittelfrüh, Saaz. Maltaat: Cara Pale, Munich Light, Pilsner, Vienna.

Draught@SOPP Tampere 2021. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a big foamy white head, which leaves rich lace. Aroma is grains, bread and some mild alcohol with a bit of honey sweetness too. Flavour is sweet grains, mild biscuity and some honeyish tones along with a bit of alcoihol sweetness and some herbal and hayish tones too.

Tap at SOPP Tampere. Clear amber-copper colour and small off-white head. Caramel, a bit ryebready maltyness. Medium-bodied. Caramel, light bready and some hops. Quite simple.

Tap at SOPP2021Tampere. Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Grain, some caramel, some bread... clean, easy but nicely enjoyable.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20210609) The beer poured deep amber and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, honey, herbalness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, honey, herbalness, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A nice malty brew with bit too sweet notes.
