Bottled, from Bozeman, MT. Clear nut brown, brief head. Syrupy nose with a bit of roastiness. Light-medium bodied with sloppy mouthfeel. Syrupy with notes of cranberies. Low bitterness. An unconvincing brown ale.

Bottle: Pours a chesnut brown color with a finger of creamy beige head. The nose is rich with roast, espresso, and chocolatey sweets. Nice. A nicely balanced flavor of coffee, light roast, cocoa, and a milky sweetness take effect. What a pleasant suprise amongst some sub-par Bitter Root beers... this nut brown ale is quite nice.
