Bottled (from Sonnisaari). Very hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is super hoppy, fruity, floral, nectary and resiny with some spruce .Flavour is floral, fruity, some nectary and grassy tones with mild alcohol as well as some sweet mats. More DIPA than Barley Wine.

Sample from O / OS - many thanks! Opaque dark amber with white head. Herbs, , honey, mint, malt, caramel, pine. A bit rough.

Smell of overripe fruit, some malt. Muddy brown colour with residue, off-white head. Aroma of overripe fruit, malt, some sugary notes, faint of licorice, hops. Sweet. Medium carbon.

330ml bottle. Sweetish, caramely malty and hoppy with some tropical fruits, pine, resin, citrus, grapefruit, toffee, hints of bitterness and dried fruitiness. Okay, quite hoppy barley wine. Will be nice to see how this evolves over time.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web) Dark orange colour, steady white head. Lots of floating yeast. Aroma is boozy, toffee, some hops. Full-bodied. Strong malty, toffeish, resiny very hoppy, alcohol. Malty, sweetish, robust, yeasty and boozy.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Orivesi. Batch #283. BBE 11.12.2022. Enjoyed straight from the bottle (will enjoy more from glass later!). Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some pine, some grape, some grass, hops and malts. Very fresh nice hops and lingering aftertaste. Excellent. One of the best Finnish beers ever. Points 3.9 -> 4.0 at Tampereen SOPP 2021. Excellent condition.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 283 - BB 11.13.2022, from Alko, 20210307) The beer poured amber and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses, grass and pine. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, prunes pine, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, molasses and bitterness. A tasty malty brew showing ageing potential.

33 cl bottle @ home Aroma has tropical fruits, fruit candy and marmalade. Flavour has tropical fruits, alcohol, some resiny tones, grapefruit. Finishes with some lingering harsh bitterness and boozy tones. A bit unbalanced and too boozy.
