(swing top bottle) Hazy, dark brown colour with a small tanned foamy head. Light-sweet, nutty and slightly toasted malty nose with notes of caramel, chocolate and a pleasant hoppy blend. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Toast-malty taste with a touch of roasted barley and caramel, plus minimal fruity accents, staying in the background; dry-ish, nutty and toasty-bitter finish with a shy hoppy touch. Quaffable Dunkel (25.06.07).

Bügelverschlußflasche (Diky, Quack-Dacku !): Deep amber coloured, small, stable off-white head; distinctive nutty and caramelly nose with a faint fruitiness; solid sweet-bitter flavour, smooth MF, light bodied; malty-caramelly, a bit toasted finish with bitter hops in the aftertaste. Well balanced, well crafted brew....
