Bottled 330ml (Smaakhuis)
Dark brown colour, tiny beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, roasted nose. Light to medium-bodied. Toasted, bourbony vanilla, chocolaty flavour. Smooth finish. Simple but ok.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with very small, frothy, fading, beige head - in fact nothing more than a thin layer of tiny bubbles. Doughy, dark malty aroma, hints of chocolate cake dough, a very cautious touch of Bourbon, vanilla oak. Taste is roasty and chocolately dark malty, hints of oak, vanilla, Bourbon, treacle, a nutty touch; alcoholic overtones throughout, alcoholic finish. Rather watery texture, relatively light bodied. Not overly impressive.
