Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque black with a neat and lacing, beige head. Smooth, soft roastiness with some licorice. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet molasses, licorice and discreet roastiness. No real bitterness. Pleasant and easygooing porter. 090425

On tap at Mallaskellari, Oulu. Almost black with a small tan head. Licorice, mild roasted malt, some coffee and dried fruit. On the soft side but decent.

Keg at Mallaskelleri, Oulu. Aroma is lacking. Malty. Light coffee. Opaque cola brown. Beige head recedes. Light-medium sour followed by coffee and molasses. Medium bodied. Oily. Sticky. Flat-average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Pleasant if lacking oomph.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized foamy brown head. Aroma is lactic, chocolaty, mild roast, some slight smoked wet wood and mild caramel tones. Flavour is chocolaty, some lactose, mild smoked wet wooden tones, caramel as well as some ashy tones in the finish. Very smooth and delicate.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 03.03.2022, from Alko, 20200903) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste had molasses and bitterness. A way too sweet brew with mild burnt notes.

33cl bottle @ Little pub, Vaasa. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Roastedness, ash, cocoa in aroma. Flavor has roastedness, coffee, ash. Dry. Medium bodied. Ok.

Tap at The Office, Vaasa. Dark ruby colour, small steady brownish head. Light to medium-bodied. Light coffeish but also vegetably and even metallic flavour. Sweetish finish. Bad condx or bad beer?
