Creamy Swiss-style holiday lager, with a malty taste and aroma. Barrel aging adds great flavors, creating more depth and a satisfying complexity. Frogichlaus is mellow and soothing, the perfect beer to settle down for a cold winter's nap. Inspired by a man so lively and quick, we knew in a moment it must be St. Nick!

Can: Poured a hazy deep amber color ale with a medium size off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of deep caramelized malt notes with some vanilla and bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of deep caramelized malt notes with light toffee, some residual sugar notes and some woody bourbon notes. Body is full with limited filtration and light warming alcohol notes are noticeable. Solid BA doppelbock and a very enjoyable nightcap.

Poured from 250mL can (2025 vintage; 14.1% abv; thanks Sammy). Hazed medium brown with very minimal off white head. Dark dried fruits, toffee, complimentary boozy barrel notes, quite balanced, solid Hoppin Frog offering.

8.45 oz. can, pours an opaque, reddish dark brown with a tiny head. Nose is bold, with deep dark dried fruits, huge caramel, some oak, and brown sugar. Flavour is sweet, bold and fruity, with tons of brown sugar, toffee, dark dried fruits, some barrel, and a pleasant boozy warming effect. It’s sweet, but the maltiness is so bold and satisfying that it works. Wonderful big strong ale.

Small can pours out amber topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet caramel pitfruit bourbon barrel spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts rich caramel toffee pitfruit bourbon barrel.
