Hazy reddish brown with a medium sized tan head. Boozy with cherry, raisin, fig, molasses and caramel. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

8.45 oz. can, pours an opaque, reddish dark brown with a tiny head. Nose is bold, with deep dark dried fruits, huge caramel, some oak, and brown sugar. Flavour is sweet, bold and fruity, with tons of brown sugar, toffee, dark dried fruits, some barrel, and a pleasant boozy warming effect. It’s sweet, but the maltiness is so bold and satisfying that it works. Wonderful big strong ale.

Can, courtesy of Sergey, 14.1% ABV, the tag is difficult to read, it may say bb Apr 10 2025
Mahogany colour, almost no head. It has a nice malty profile, rich, with caramel, toffee; I'd like to try the unbarreled version, because I think that for a Doppelbock the barrel is not a necessary addition; too much booze presence. Rich beer, excellent sipper.
