Creamy Swiss-style holiday lager, with a malty taste and aroma. Barrel aging adds great flavors, creating more depth and a satisfying complexity. Frogichlaus is mellow and soothing, the perfect beer to settle down for a cold winter's nap. Inspired by a man so lively and quick, we knew in a moment it must be St. Nick!

8.45 ounce can from Tavour. 2022 vintage. 14.1% ABV. Hazy chestnut brown color. Brief, foamy tan head dissipates quickly. Sweet caramel malt aroma hints at oak and whiskey. Rich, tangy toasted malt flavor upfront. Intense notes of caramel, dried fruits, orange peel and warming alcohol. Subtle hints of oak lend another layer of complexity. Quite intense and best if sipped slowly over the course of a cold winter evening.

Can from Tavour at 14.1%. Pours quite dark with a transient, slight tan head. Aroma of chocolate and toasted/burnt malt - kind of like a cookie in a way. Full bodied. Flavor is the aroma with whiskey and some darkish fruit. Not dry. Heat tends to subdue the malt. Gets more like some raisin with time. Very, very nice.
