Teimme viime keväänä Kuninkaankartanon panimolla Mustialassa pienen erän Saisonia, joka kärrättiin kesällä muutamaan oululaiseen ravintolaan. Nyt teki mieli panna uusi erä omilla vehkeillä (oluenteosta kertominen ei tällä kielellä onnistu ilman kaksimielisyyksiä), koska eka Patio oli kelpo kesäolut ja etenkin koska tyylilaji on yksi henkilökuntamme suosikeista.
Muutamia hienosäätöjä toki tehtiin; tämänvuotinen Patio on entistä kuivempi ja aavistuksen kepeämpi. Pääosassa on edelleen pippurisen sitruksinen saison-hiiva ja wanhan mantereen jalohumalat.

Bottled@Butcher & Banker, Vaasa. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is earth, some farmyard, fruits and citrus as well. Flavour is wheat, citrus, some farmyard, spices and mild peppery notes. Still very refreshing.

Bottle 330ml (Butcher & Banker). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Funky, farmhouse nose. Medium-bodied. Funky, hoppy, citrusy, peppery, grassy flavour. Quite funky.

33cl bottle. Butcher & Banker, Vaasa. Poured hazy golden color with a thick white head. Bretta nose, sourness, berryish notes. Flavor has malts, funky notes, light bretta and tart fruits. Refreshing stuff.

Tap at SOPP 2017, Oulu. Color is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some spices, herbs, Belgian yeast and malts.

(Keg at One Pint Pub, 20160627) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, malts and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spiciness, grass, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. Unfortunately the yeast used had produced unpleasant spiciness.
