Maustaminen on semmoinen laji, jossa ei parane räplätä liikoja. Vienot piirteet ja hienovarainen vihjailu appelsiinista ja fenkolista eivät kyllästä nauttijaa vaan virittävät makuaistit riemukkaaseen lentoon.
Pakko tunnustaa, että himppu viitteelliseksi jäi aplarit ja fenkolit. Eipä ainakaan ylimaustunut. Mutta jos oot allerginen sitruksille niin älä jua! Katkerohommissa Magnum ja Amarillo tällä kertaa, koska se nyt vaan on niin.

330ml bottle from Pien. Batch 113. Pours deep dark brown with a small bubbly head. Aroma of roasty malts, floral hops, earthiness, hints of citric notes. Taste is smooth, roasty, slightly fruity and citric with hints of floral notes, earthiness and orange peel. Finish is smooth and slightly roasty with some hints of fruits, citrus and celery. Smooth, slightly roasty and fruity porter.

A colablack beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has liquorice, orange and fennel. Taste has roastiness, quite strong spicyness of fennel, some orange, quite dry because of bitterness. Medium bodied. Quite strong spicyness but not too much.

Dark brown colour, small steady beige head. Coffeish aroma has hints of citrus. Light to medium-bodied. Toasted, more or less coffeish flavour. Light spices are in the background. Some citrus in the finish. Balanced and thanks to new Finnish grocery shop limit (4.7 -> 5.5) these porters can be robust enough.

Draught @ William K, kurvi. Pours deep brown, mahogany color with a thin creamy off white head, lasts. Roastedness in aroma, nutty notes, hops and chocolate. Flavor has roastedness, tobacco, nuts and some chocolate. Dry, bready finish

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch #113 - BB 7/12/2018, from Pien, 20180113) The beer poured clear and deep dark brown. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, lightly aniseed, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, dark chocolate and bitterness. A rather pleasant burnt brew with light spiciness.

Tap at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. Color is clear dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some citric elements, dryness, some chocolate, some spices, some distant hints of mint and roasted malts. Pretty light easy hoppy porter.
