Bottle at home, golden beer, small to medium head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, coriander, light peppery, some fruit. Taste is the same, sweet, yeast, citrus, average belgian ale.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Yeasty, fruity, coriander. Taste: Fruity (citrus, hints of stone fruit), yeasty and herbal coriander and sage. Moderate sweet and moderate to over moderate bitterness. Medium body, just above average carbonation. Ok.

Bottled 330ml (AIH165) Hazy golden colour, medium-sized white head. Strong spiceyness in the nose, even cinnamon. Medium-bodied. Flavour is also Belgian yeast, spicey, peppery, hoppy. Real Chouffe.

Smell of yeast, pepper, some soap. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, sweet malt, pepper, herbs. Medium bitter. Soft carbon.

Pours gold with a large lasting head.Nose shows typical Belgiab yeast with doughy/bready notes, spicy phenols, slight banana, grassy and spicy hops.Similar flavours, more spicy/herbal notes but also some fruity characters with a little peach.Carbonation is insanely high.

On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium sized foamy white head and good lacing. The aroma is strongly bananas to the exclusion of all else. In the mouth it is sweet , and the bananas are joined by bubble gum. There is some underlying malt which is soon joined by hints of spices, orange peel and various herbs. The finish is spicy with a slightly osur edge to it. This is great – very drinkable !

Draught, taster. @Barcelona Beer Festival 2022, 16/10/2022 [#5.523 Global - #245 Belgium - #5 Brasserie d'Achouffe (Duvel-Moortgat)] Pours golden with a white head. Hints of spiced malts and pine needles on the aroma. Taste: crisp banana and yeast. Grainy spiced mouthfeel. Next one please!

Bottle. Gold with a large white head but it collapses. Aroma of dough, orange peel, apricot, more herbs & spices than the normal version but would I have guessed sage - or coriander and oregano? Cleanish, fruity, fairly bitter. Lacks the charming frank boozy presence of the original and maybe they upped the sage a bit much, but it's still pretty good.
