I think the can is infected, or it has intentionally been brewed as a slightly sour porter, or been lagered on red wine barrels. flavor notes are red wine, dark dried fruits, dark malts. Not that bad, but somewhat unexpected.

Cocoa, roasted malts, hints of dark chocolate and burnt malts, a faint peppery rye touch and a hint of alcohol and prunes in the aroma. It's full bodied, softly carbonated and with a light sweetness. Some alcohol warmth. The flavor has cocoa, roasted malts, some burnt notes and a hint of dark dried fruit. Some alcohol. Medium length finish. Nice, but a bit plain. 220104
