Birra scura, ebano, con una bella schiuma pannosa di color cappuccino. L’impronta data dai malti tostati e dal caffè è molto intensa nel profumo con sensazioni di cioccolato, noce, tabacco e caffè. Assaggiata la Kamchatka mantiene in bocca tutte le promesse fatte in fase olfattiva, è sontuosa al palato, muscolare anche se inizialmente morbida con una chiusura che vira verso note amare di caffè e liquirizia.

Bottled 330ml. -from Firenze Birra, Italy. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, coffee, alcohol and some roast in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee and noticable alcohol with again coffee alcoholic finish. Nothing special here.

Black color, brown head. Nutty aroma, some cardboard, some alcohol, milk. Thin body, cardboard, some liquorice, poor malt, a touch of coffee.
It’s a drinkable beer, but not a good Imperial Stout.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out somewhat muted roasted malt, some bready notes, and a touch of dry cocoa. Flavour is dry and fairly dull, with dusty roasted malt, bready notes, a little cardboard, and dusty dry bitter cocoa. Completely without sweetness and without much body. Almost has a hint of tartness on the finish, with toasted malt. Okay, but quite weak for the style.

Cask @ Golosaria 2015, Milano. Il gusto al naso riporta i sentori di caffè, cioccolato e tabacco. L’intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il corpo è pieno. L’amaro è forte. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di amaro.
