„Antonov An-225 Mriya, which means ‘dream’ in Ukrainian, was the largest and one of a kind aircraft in the world. When the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the world in early-2020, the An-225 participated in the relief effort by conducting flights to deliver medical supplies from China to other parts of the world. Mriya was at the Antonov Airport for maintenance when the war began. She didn’t survive the heavy bombing by Russian occupants, and was destroyed on February 26, 2022. Underwood Brewery is close to Mriya’s home airport and we loved watching her fly by. We miss our bird, but now we have a new dream – we will rebuild her. We will rebuild Ukraine after the horrible war.“

Bottle. Clear golden. Bready malts, lots of citrus zest, grassy, caramel malts, grapefruit. Medium sweet, solid bitter. Tasty West Coast IPA, well done.

From tap. Pours cloudy yellow, white head. Aroma is fruity. Grainy. Citrusy to peach hops. Bitter, herbal. Dry hoppy. Juicy. Crisp hoppy finish.
