Superficial sample from Billie’s craft beer fest 2025. Unclear pale golden, small white head. Apple cider aroma. Cider and malt flavor, some kind of unusually spices (sage and Provance spices?) Sweet and sour. Interesting.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Clear very pale golden color, no head. Aroma and flavor are like a cider tbh. Or is this a cider? Must be. Slightly on the dry side with a little bit of green apple peel. Okay. 6-6-7-7-6

Bottle samepled at Billies. Clear golden. Very herbal, funky, soft apple peels, lavender. Over light sweet, sour and bitter. Medium bodied. Has a cider body and beer aroma. Not bad!

On tap at Billie's Craft Beer Festival. Ginger, citrus, vinegar hints and apple cider. Refreshing, nice, but not really my kind of drink. 636312 251107

Head gone after ample seconds. Looks as white wine for all the world. End of bottle solid deposit. Wormwood, pepper, apples, fennel, sage. Medium acidity, cider, sage, rosemary, again some wormwood. Bone-dry. Feels much better carbonated than it looks. Dry-out effect and some acidthinning. This is out of this world. Utterly original and tantalising. L&L keeps producing gems.

0.375 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', best before November 2028. Hazy, pale golden with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, rather fruity, gently floral aroma of ripe apple, lemon, pineapple, rosemary and sage indeed. Slightly sweet, gently sour, rather fruity and moderately floral taste of ripe apple, gooseberry, lemon, white grapes, rosemary and sage, followed by a medium long, gently tart, slightly woody finish. Medium body, gently astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Unique beverage, unexpectedly herbal, really fresh and fruity. Very different from the grafs I've tried so far.

Sample courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of spiced sausage, funk. Taste is sweetish & tangy, sausage, biscuit, funk, apple, citric, floral, lemon-lime, tart. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying sausagey finish. OK, strange one.

Bottle at home, picked up from Yards & Crafts online, 05/06/22. Light golden yellow with a decent white cap ... the final pour gives to a deeper golden orange hue with some floaty / sediment friends offered. Nose is dusty apples, caramel, hop presence, citric tinged straw, grass, herb, trace of green berry funk. Taste comprises apple orchard, light spice, toffee apple, sage, hedgerow, twist of lime, dusty hop spattering. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, light drying close. Tasty stuff.
