Omdat de combinatie van citrusfruit en een IPA goed werkt is de Grolsch Fruit IPA gebrouwen met hele sinaasappels, welke aan het eind van de vergisting worden toegevoegd. Het sterke sinaasappel aroma zorgt samen met de fruitige Mandarina Bavaria hop voor een complexe bitterheid met tonen van citrus en mandarijn. De Grolsch Fruit IPA heeft een alcoholpercentage van 5,5%.

From tap at Stadscafé Het Refter, Zwolle. Citrussy aroma with lots of zesty orange, bitter orange peel and citrussy Mandarina hop. Some notes of yuzu. Flavour has a decent bitterness, body is medium. Very zesty and fruity, surprisingly decent.

Tap at Cafe de Uyl van Hoogland, Leiden: Hazy opaque-like orange colored brew with an dry bitter taste with sweetness tries to kick in. Hints of citrus and some oranges. Grolsch tried to brew an NEIPA.

Tap @ Cafe Morshuis Albergen. Orange golden color. Orange sweets in the aroma. Malty, yet fairly dry orange flavor with fruit sweets and soft yeasty notes. Partly faded hops. Interesting.
