Draught @ Væskebalancen Bar. Pours clear amber with an offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, nice meaty smoke, bonfire. Flavor is light bitter, malty, caramel, smoked meat, bonfire smoke. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. Pretty smooth. 301022

Copper with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with toffee and a good meaty smoke. Dryish malty and smoked flavour with a light bitter finish. Feels lighter than a Schlenkerla märzen, but definitely a good rauchbier.

On tap at Akkurat. Dark amber with a medium head. Smoke, ham, caramel and some malt. A pleasant one.

--Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. -- Clear deep amber, mid sized head. Distinct smoke aroma - cured ham and licorice. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Generously malty with of charcuterie smoke. Mid bitter finish. Powerfully smokey, yet nicely drinkable - more caramelly than Bamberger originals.

Can 44 cl. Pours a clear amber with a solid and lacing beige head. Fairly modest Bamberg-style bacon smoke atop some caramelly malts. Medium body, again lightly caramelly and nutty malt base - never sweet though - and then modest Bamberg smoked malts. The finishing bitterness is pretty hefty though, also more so in a traditional German Rauchbier. 060722

Tap @ Skaal. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, bourbon, wood, chocolate, coffee and.has a nice warming finish.
