Bottle. Alsace!! Light golden. Oh yeah it’s this sweet and spicy Alsace grapes right in your face. Candied lemon, white pepper, soft funk, apple, light yoghurt and mineral notes. I’m not a fan of these wines, but this is quite nice!

75cl bottle (bottled: 17 January 2022) @ brewery. Head is medium, white, quick gone. Colour is shiny pale gold, light hazy. Aroma is funky, grapes, bit white wine, peach touch, woody, barnyard, rhubarb touch. Taste is grapes, white wine, rhubarb, old lemon touch, peach, fresh white grapes, light sour fruity, medium carbonation, not so complex yet still very good for this style, fully enjoyed.

Bottle. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Muted barnyard nose. Mild funk, mild barnyard, mild white vinous notes. It’s complex but not overly so, it’s good but not mind blowing. Good body and mouthfeel.

0,15l from bottle shared at Arrogant Sour Festival 2022. Light yellow hazy color, small white head. Smells grassy, earthy, subtle Funk, bit lactic, tannins, white grapes. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes citric, grassy, earthy white wine, some oak, peppery. Finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of peppery, white wine and some tannins. Very wine forward, very good one, very subtle balance

Pours unclear blonde. Scent is lemonpeel, not very recognizable as white grapes. Taste is full, tart, dry, expressive herbal / fruity notes from the grapes. Bit better to me than expected, not being a big fan of gewurtzstraminer. Medium carbo, medium light body. Rather high acidity. Dry. Very decent, and better than expected.

EB Quintessence Trip April 16-19. Perfume nose and juice flavour. Another one that feels quite young but if can keep the nose while being cellared for a couple of years I suspect it’ll be amazing!
