sampled at beer festival. Not what i expected, very light on the palate compared to most imperial stouts i've had - flavor was lovely though

Pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is mainly roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is of dark roast malt, chocolate, coffee, and oats. It's on the sweet side. Full bodied. It's very good, hitting the usual notes for this bold style, without being truly outstanding.

Draft. Sweet chocolate, earthy oatmeal and roasty aroma. Black with a moderate tan head. Chocolate, earthy oat, and prune flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation.
