Pours a very dark, but not entirely black body and a form and dense, rocky, mocha coloured head with good retention. Aroma's: roasted malts, sweetish, mocha, dark chocolate. Retronasal: firmly roasted, sweetish, bitterish. Flavour is above moderate (chocolatey) sweet and moderate (roasted) bitter. Under medium bodied (at best, actually quite thin). Long finish with tons of roast, ashy almost, above moderate bitter. Surprisingly nice.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Brouwersnös Groenlo. Black with a beige head. Sweet coffee aroma with some chocolate and dark caramel. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Not very roasted but nice enough.

Taster at home courtesy of Sander, big thanks. black color, small coffee colored head. smells coffee, spices, herbal, nutty, bit rubbery, toffee, soapy. decent to nice smell overall. full body, pearly carbonation. tastes coffee, earthy, peppery, spices, bit leathery, herbal, some sweetness. finishes light to medium roasty bitter with notes of of leather, pepper and sweet coffee. decentish, not the biggest fan of this though, too much carbonation for a stout, flavours rather muddled.

Flesje gedronken bij Harrie. Zwart bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van chocolade en koffie. Smaak is zacht en dropachtig. Weinig nasmaak.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of roasted malt, licorice, dark chocolate, caramel, some smoke and mocha coffee. Taste has creamy mocha coffee, chocolate, licorice, soft smoke, roasted malt, caramel and some hopbitters. Not bad, classic double stout.

Bottle shared at home, thanks to Wim! Almost black with tan head. BlackBerry jam, roasted malts, earthy, sugary grains, old coffee, cassis. Very fruity. Over medium sweet and just medium bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel. Decent.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Licorice and milk chocolate in the aroma. Full bodied. Roast, licorice and caramel in the flavor. Quite decent, maybe a bit simple.

Bottle [from trade with RW80] @ home shared with Joes. Opaque black color, decent sized off-white to beige head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is malts, earthy and dusty a bit, moderately sweetish, brown malts, light malt bitters. Bitters mostly in the aftertaste. Texture is a bit thin, body is decent, carbonation is average to medium. Interesting surprising beer. To me it's more like some sort of semi-imperial brown ale rather than an Imperial Stout so for style I'd say it's bad but it tastes fine to me.
