Bottle thanks to Toby back in the day. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. Nose is big roast malts chocolate coffee and some vanilla. Taste is more of the heavy roast malts chocolate some molasses sweetness and vanilla.

Bottle from my cousin in Greensboro. Dark roasty malt, Italian prune plum, and cola aroma. Black brown with a large tan head. Dark roasty charred malt, fresh prune plum and cola-ish flavor. Light coffee and chocolate flavor developed as it warmed, near the end of the glass. Medium, over-carbonated body. Very light for the style. The whole thing was over- carbonated, which ruined it for me.
