On draft at the brewpub it is a dark briwnish black color with a tan head. The aroma is slight coffee and the taste is strong somewhat booziness with a finish of boozy gummy bears

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a red hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains and light booze with some light earthy chocolate backing. Flavor is a bit thin with dark grains and a decent amount of straw.

Draft @ brewery. Sweet toasty malt and dark fruit aroma --- very, very faint aroma. Deep mahogany with a large beige head. Roasty malt, sweet dark fruit, alcohol, and light anise flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation.
