The nose is complex as apples, honey, black raspberries and hops come together for this wine. The complexity continues through the mouth as it begins slightly sweet with apples and raspberries and moves into a honey, lightly hopped dry finish.

Bottle from winery. Blackberry, apple, honey and spicy floral aroma - very rich and complex - I wanted to sniff at it as much as I wanted to drink it. Deep rich plum/blackberry color. Flavor was exactly what the nose promised - sweet ripe blackberry, honey, and a lovely spicy floral flavor. Full rich body, very soft carbonation, and slightly dry finish. McClure’s calls this a cider, but it seems much more like a mead. Either way, it was wonderful .. rich, complex, difficult to stop drinking.. which at 12% was dangerous!
