This West Coast IPA is anything but amateur. Columbus, Citra, Simcoe and Azacca hops pull the strings of an all-star cast of flavour. Citrus, resin and pine are supported by grapefruit and stone fruit with no need for an interval. A subtle malt base is present throughout and topped off by an assertive bitter encore. Sit back and enjoy the show.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grassy hop, floral notes, lemon, touch of herbal hop and pine. Flavour is medium bitter, some dryness in the finish. Body is medium. Okay, but leaves me a bit unsatisfied. More floral and grassy than I like my West Coast IPA.

440ml can from Asda in Poole, pours hazy amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of grapefruit, flora, pine & malt. Moderate body. Moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable

Slightly hazy golden pour with a white head. Aroma is quite fruity with (sweet) citrus, peaches, apricot. Taste is similar, but a bit more bitter. The ABV helps to carry the taste. Decent finish.

Can from Sainsburys, Eltham. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nose is lemon drops, peach, grapefruit, orange peel, apricot. Taste is grapefruit, lime, lychee, gooseberry. Long bitter hop linger.

Can. A cloudy golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of pine needles, citrus fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruit, pine needles, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Lightly hazy amber, mid sized dense head. Quite intense aroma of mirabelles, tomatillo and peppery grain- Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Tomatillo and citrus, peppery grain. Mid bitter finish.

Lett sløret gylden med offwhite skum som daler sakte. Aroma sitrus grapefrukt furunål humle. Smak tropisk frukt humle furunål gjær malt. Fin fylde, fruktig og lett bitter. Boks fra VP Langnes
