The perfect sour. Our house Berliner Weisse recipe (soured with our, continuously evolving, barrel stored lactobacillus culture) conditioned on a small tropical islands worth of passionfruit. Expect a lovely fruity aroma, more fruit on the tongue, and even more fruit on the finish all rounded with a gentle acidity from the souring process. Brewed with only the finest Belgian malts and our House Lactobacillus Culture under the careful watch of our Head Brewer, Declan Nixon.

44cl can fom Drink Store, Dublin. At Niamey's craft beer tasting. BB 05/2019.

On tap at Brewdog Brighton. Hazy orange colour lasting white head. Passionfruit aroma. Like a passionfruit lacto mix. Which is fine as I really like passionfruit. Sweet sour mix is good. Some sour and bitterness on the finish. Good I loved the fruit.

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy orange, with practically no foam. Aroma is intensely passion fruit and tropical. Body is somehow light with marked carbonation. Taste is definitely sour and moderately sweet. Finish is short and clean.

Can sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy golden. Great juicy passion fruit aroma. Sour flavor, juicy, with passion fruit, a faint phenolic smoky hint. Quite light-bodied. Really good and refreshing.

Can from Honest Brew. Pours dark golden yellow with no head. Huge contrast between aroma and taste. The aroma is dominated by sweet tropical fruits which belie totally the intense sourness to the taste. Body is quite light, texture oily, carbonation quite lively. Sourness is short-lasting, leaving the sweetness to slowly develop in the finish. Wasn't sure initially, but the more I had of this the more I liked it!

Can at the old dears, from Callans, 09/07/17. Very light haze on a golden pour with a decent off white head that dissipates to spotting in due course. Nose carries pissy green berry notes, light floral notes, funk, passionfruit evident, citric sherbets, stewed rhubarb. Taste comprises pissy citric shreds, light funky brett notes, vanilla, passionfruit, lemon tinged straw, light spice, grains. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying close with a mello acidic bite and accompanying pucker. Solid refreshing sour ... top draw for the ABV.

Tap at Brewdog. Irish passion fruit berliner? Yeah, I’m all over that. Has that overboard frozen can of puree feel. It is really tasty, just leans into the puree aspect a little hard. Suitable enough for the style I suppose, in line with a lot of other solid offerings out there. OK.
