500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Rather weak, roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of metal, iron, rust, a touch of blood, dark bread, earthy, herbal-fruity whiffs of bramble, a cautious touch of burnt coffee. Taste is dry, bitter, roasty dark malty, almost a bit ashy, minimally metallic, weak hints of coffee, dark chocolate, iron, rust, dark bread, a cautious, fruity touch of bramble. Watery texture, dry, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Quite rich and manifold, but also a bit anaemic - authentic interpretation of the style, pretty much underrated at this date IMO.
