This IPA by Cloudwater is fermented with WLP001, the Californian ale yeast famous for its clean flavours, balance and ability to be used in almost any style ale. It accentuates the brew’s flavours, with Ekuanot hops taking the lead, backed up by Simcoe.

Tap, at Cloudwater. Dark, yellow gold. Full haze. Film of white head. Nose has some savoury notes. Some citrus. Some fleshy peach. Not a juice bomb, especially. Taste is mostly citric bitter, with a light, fruity sweetness. Clean mouthfeel. Light to medium body. Citrus bitterness to finish.
