KJUBCZ Chris-mas tasting. 2021 edition. Unclear amber with off white head. Sweet caramel, grapey, candied fruits, oaky. Sweet and dry. Over medium body, oily, boozy but pleasant dessert kind of beer.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Inoven en LiekevdV. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een wijn achtige wat houtige geur. De smaak is fruitig, wijn achtig, zoethout en houtig.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Intense malty alcoholic aroma. Starts intense malty, strong, not as alcoholic as exspected. Finish well balanced, woody notes as well, light caramel touch. Nice one!

Hoestsiroop op rode wijn, precies wat je zou verwachten. Niet mijn favoriet, maar ook weer niet heel slecht uitgevoerd.

Bottle. Color: Dark copper, thin off-white head. Aroma: Vinuous, sweetish, caramel, dark fruit, red wine. Taste: Quite a lot of red wine, some dark fruit, caramel, fudge and vanilla hints, boozy notes, spicy notes. Sweet candy sugar notes. Vinuous. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitter at first. Very slightly tart, like red wine. Quite a lot of bitterness at the finish. Notes of wood, tannins, mostly at finish. Over medium body. Nice one, Good balance in between base beer and barrel. I like the Gulpener experiments.

Corked Bottle, Thanks PotjeBier! Dark Brown color. Vinous aroma with hints of spices, Caramel And roast. Full bodied. Malty sweet, little carbon. Spices, licorice, mint, Caramel, oak. Warming. Nice.

37.5cl Bottle, tfs Harmen! Ruby brown colour, beige head. Aroma of dirt, wood, red wine, grape skins, cinnamon. Flavour is medium sweet to sweet, red wine, dark fruits, earth, dirt, yeast, some cinnamon, oak, tart-bitter finish. Medium bodied. Didn't really like it.

Bottle, shared with my dad. Deep red color, almost clear. Frothy light beige head with a little retention. Aroma's: sourish, vinous and a bit sweet. Retronasal: vinous, balsamic, sourish, sweetish, fruit and wood. Flavor is above moderate sweet with light fruity or vinous sourness. Medium to full bodied. Warming alcohol. Long finish, moderate bitter and light tart. Pretty good.
