Bottle, shared with my dad. Deep red color, almost clear. Frothy light beige head with a little retention. Aroma's: sourish, vinous and a bit sweet. Retronasal: vinous, balsamic, sourish, sweetish, fruit and wood. Flavor is above moderate sweet with light fruity or vinous sourness. Medium to full bodied. Warming alcohol. Long finish, moderate bitter and light tart. Pretty good.

Clear warm cola colour, off-white head. Aroma of wood, red wine, caramel, malts. Sweet malty flavour, red wine, light tart. Finish wood, light astringent, grapes, wine. Nice! (from 37.5cL bottle @ home. Thanks for the bottle, PotjeBier!!)

Shared with Beerhunter111 and Koelschtrinker. Intense malty sticky beginning. The beer is deep and fruity, the wine from the barrels is there, the malty Wintervrund als well. Nice combination with a dry sourish winey twist. Nice.

Intensiver, malzig-süßer Antrunk. Feine Malznoten, kaum alkholisch, dezenter Weineinfluss, harmonisch. Intensiv aber nicht zu trocken holzig, dunkle Malznoten, intensiv, vergorene Fruchtnoten, zunehmend scharf vom Alkohol. Lecker. 10/9/11/11/10/11
