Thx to Tom Hendriksen for this bottle - Euro Swap! Deep black color and and a small tan head. Sweetish nose, roasted malts, molasse. Taste starts boozy, sweet malts, dried fruits, vanilla and whisky flavors. A little bit over the top,but quite good.

*rating overgezet* Het is een diep zwart bier met een dun beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur met tonen van gedroogd rood fruit. De smaak is gebrand, koffie, chocolade en gedroogd fruit in de afdronk.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Brouwsel nr: 59. Diep donkerbruin bier met een mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van gebrande mout, karamel en chocolade. De smaak is van koffie, chocolade en donker fruit. Nasmaak is zoet en fruitig. .

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Het Veem, Eindhoven. Pitch black with a beige head. Roasted malts aroma with lots of chocolate and some red fruit and raisins. Sweet taste with a serious chocolate bitter finish. Slight hint of alcohol burn, which is a bit uncommon in an imperial stout of 'only' 9%. Overall very decent.

Bottle. Black. Pours a huge head. Malt, caramel, roast and coffee in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweetish with caramel, lots of licorice. Tasty, but some raw edges and a questionable balance. Thanks Benzai!

33cl bottle. A dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. aroma of dark roasted malt, riped fruits, coffee and chocolate. taste of coffee, dark roasted malt, liquorice, dark fruits, high carbonation.

Sampled @ NL Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2017. Almost black colored, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, slightly a hint of liquorice, lightly malt bitter but also a sweet hint. Not bad at all.
