Weird, where are all the ratings on this? I expected several, and questioned whether I looked up the right beer for a minute. 12 oz can poured. Reddish copper pour with a fizz head. Nice mix of caramel and hops aroma. Flavor too. A bit toasty on the finish. This is the first time I’ve ever rated a beer in the shower. Drinking a beer in the shower has been cool since forever ago. But rating.. this might be a one and only timer. Great beer.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber red with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy pine and earthy grass with a decent amount of bread. Flavor has earthy grain and earthy grass with a hint of pine underlying.

Six pack from Winco (labelled as Red Ale @ 6% ABV.) Copper colored body with minimal head. Aroma: malt first, hops second, metallic third. Taste follows in the same fashion, what the the metallic taste taking over the finish. It’s not huge, but the metallic finish is what you’re left with, and diminishes the whole experience.

Keg at the brewpub, Springfield, 10/11/14. Lightly hazed reddish amber with a mdoerate beige covering that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, light pine, earthy hop, blood orange. Taste compriss caramel malt, candied fruit peel, red grapefruit, mineral rinse. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Ok hoppy amber.

Draught. Deep redder than red colour with white head. Much lacing. Aroma is balanced hop and maltiness. Hayey flavour with a good malt backbone. Toasty finish.
