Dark amber color. Malty grassy aroma and flavor with hints of butter. Caramelly notes.

Test vom 15.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,12,9,12 - 11,70

The bottle looks really good, beer in the glass dark, but not black, nice head. Wonderful malty aroma with nice caramel notes. Starts malty, not too roasty. fine caramel notes and chocolate. Wonderful balanced. Finish not as strong as the beginning, could be a bit more intense, malty-earty notes. A really good bock!

Bottle. Clear medium to dark amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. (Flavor is young and fresh). Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (150208)

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, small foamy layer; sweet-fruity (black berries) and dark-malty nose; moderate sweetish flavour, medium bodied; moderate - again - sweet-bitter finish with a touch of metal and vegetables: Not very impressive, not very tasty, but quite well drinkable, nevertheless..........

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet, dark-malty, slightly roasted aroma with caramel and light spicy hop notes. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Strong malt-accented taste with caramel and dense notes of dried fruits; sweetish malty and light bitter finish. Not that convincing for a dark Bock.
